Any reviews on this item from people using it? I see mixed reviews online. Wanted to know SD folks opinion on it..is it worth the higher cost when compared to a good air purifier like may be a Levoit ?

I have two of those. Honestly, it's just a fancy tower fan that can filter your air.

Its brand name maximizes its aesthetic purpose.

The app is eh, but it works fine. It works with Alexa, but with Alexa, you cannot set a timer for the machine.

If you wanna fill your house with fancy stuff sure, but if your purpose is to have a good air filter, go for cheaper ones like Winix.

Have you ever tried ceiling fans? They are quiet and if you just need a a tiny breeze, you can barely hear it.

Dido. Also the air flow strength is weak compared to traditional tower fans even at full speed.

But does a good job purifying air.

It's just okay, but not really great. Definitely not worth $300 IMO. I bought I refurbished one for $200 and my fiance still makes fun of me for it because it doesn't move much air compared to your traditional tower fan. My favorite tower fan is the Lasko High Velocity fan which is normally $60-70 at Sam's Club when they have it during the summer. For $300, you can buy a good tower fan for $100 or less and a good air purifier for $200 or less. The only other advantage this Dyson has is that the app is good. Other than that, I probably wouldn't buy this Dyson again.

Warehouse will NOT adjust the price for you. You can either contact the online customer service requesting a price match. Or just bring your item to the store, return it and buy another one (either online or in store)

I have this model. It has an interesting design. Alot of Dyson stuff has a modern design. As a purifier it works pretty good. The automatic mode is decent and self manages itself and shuts down as needed when air is clear. The app is cool you can track your stats and control some features. Remote is magnetic and sticks to the top. Only thing I dislike is the Dyson filters are pricey. The knock off versions on Amazon are more affordable but I don't know how they compare to Dyson's filters. If you own one of these and you notice that it makes a whistling or squeaking noise, use a duster and wipe all along vent openings. Dust particles can cause this effect. I thought it was a motor issue and was about to take it apart.

I have been using one of these for the past 3 years now and I absolutely love it! I get that a normal fan does the same shit but I don't really care. I bought it more for the aesthetics as it goes very well with my modern decor. For some odd reason, no manufacturer in the market puts in effort to make a modern sleek looking fan like Dyson does. Everything I come across looks and feel like cheap plastic garbage. They work but look like absolute shit compared to this. The Dyson is also plastic but looks much better grade. Get the nickel variant. It looks like stainless steel and blends well. It looks much better than the white variant.

I like the Alexa integration as well which has been rock solid over the last 3 years and the app also always works well. I like a fan where I don't need to worry about the smart features not working. For filters, I used Amazon. They are pretty cheap and work well.
