I am bad about using a gas blower instead of a broom in my shop... with this cordless one I'll probably use it in the house like Bill Murray in Caddyshack.

Is there any way to get a generic battery for less $ or is that where they get you, by selling the tool at a cheaper sale price and then charging a 3x fee for the battery required to operate it?
