this is a 1440p monitor vs a 1080p monitor.

It's a good price, but most people prefer IPS panels. This one is a VA panel. YouTube VA vs IPS to know the difference.

I prefer va for contrast and deep blacks. I don't have any sources of glare in my office, so I don't need the brightness of the monitor, and viewing angle is irrelevant to me as well, sitting right in front of my monitor. Color accuracy, low lag, high refresh and high contrast: va panels are great for this and keeping the price down.

Price is good, love costco return policy. However I still thinkI am gonna go for the Deco monitor. It out preforms on every level.

Pretty good price if you're OK with a VA panel. I wouldn't buy this for gaming. Acer customer support is also the worst I've ever dealt with on multiple occasions. Costco has a good return policy though and I think you get a multiple year warranty with their CC.

Are two of these side by side for dual monitors too much? Probably need 24 inch ones instead

I am currently using two of these side by side and they are great. obviously takes up more space than 24 inch but I don't feel like they are overboard.

Mine has pretty bad brightness flickering with FreeSync enabled. I ended up just leaving it off but otherwise it works fine at 144Hz.

I'm currently on 2 curved 27" monitors and I feel the screens "flow" together nicer than when I had 2 flats.
