100 off for an excellent charge is excellent. There are cheaper options if you don't want the totally unnecessary app. Still, a good price.

I own a JuiceBox and dont use the app at all, but it is there if you want to figure out your cost to charge. Charger works great, it consistently holds 40amps without issue, and can be configured to charge at off times (car does this so I let the car do it). Good price!

Check your local utility company for rebates first. I paid a little over $200 for mine in NYS.

After 3.5 years my juicebox Pro 40 had intermittent issues with the relay sticking shut. Couldnt use the device. I Contacted customer support and they suggested I gently tap on the right side of the unit with a shoe with the unit unplugged. It did make the relay open and the device worked for about a week before sticking again. It happens quite a bit now and pretty annoying.

Friendly reminder that Juicebox does not service or offer replacement parts to purchase after the warranty period is up. Its nice its from Costco but something to think about.

I have one of the first gen juice boxes and it keeps tripping the breaker. What were the issues you were having from the relay sticking shut?

Your issue could be loose wires at the breaker or outlet. They sometimes loosen over time. Also, to operate it at 40A, you need to be on at least a 50A breaker with 6 gauge copper wire. If either of those are undersized, you would get overheating and tripping. All of these scenarios would be a wiring issue, not a JuiceBox issue.

I ordered one two weeks ago. It was backordered and took an extra 10 days to arrive. When it did, it had the 25 foot cable instead of the 20'. Maybe they just shipped out what they had due to backorder; in any event, the 40A Juicebox with a 25' cable for $550 is a good deal.

The unit I received was DOA. When I called EnelX, this didn't sound like too much of a surprise the the CSR. I ordered a replacement through Costco as the CSR said getting a replacement directly from EnelX was going to take much longer (usual chip shortage excuse). Unfortunately, the second unit came with a 20' cord. Which you get may be a roll of the dice.

While waiting, I ordered a Grizzl-e 40A charger (with a 24' cord) for $459 from Walmart. Their return period is 90 days whereas Amazon is only 30 days. I think the wifi/app on the Juicebox is a novelty that I don't think I'll use after the initial "fun" of watching the charge logs wears off. I can control all of the charge parameters from my Mach E, so I also don't need the Juicebox's more advanced charging controls. The Juicebox's plastic case feels cheap, and not just in comparison to the Grizzl-e which built like a tank. Which look (if that matters to you) you would prefer depends on whether you like the Grizzl-e's industrial feel or the Juicebox's high-tech looks. Both the 25' DOA and 20' Juicebox are going back to Costco.

Juicebox is back in stock if anyone is interested. Some reviews reporting that they are getting the 25' version shipped to them. I ordered it today since I'm not sure how many they have to sell.
