I'm an MD and I really appreciate you actually sharing links to the scientific studies and related articles. With that said, I think this is a bit of an extreme conclusion to draw from the scientific studies and data shared... There seems to be an increased risk of AFib in higher doses (<1 g/day) of long term use of omega-3 daily supplements. AFib can be dangerous and increase the risk of embolic stroke if left untreated.

I think a more reasonable conclusion/advice would be to discuss with your primary medical doctor before taking daily omega-3 supplements at a dose higher than 1g/day, especially if you are over age 60 and/or have other risk factors for AFib.

What an irresponsible blanket comment. Do your research people. Afib is what could be increased with omegas. Risk of afib also increases with sugar intake, caffeine intake, endurance exercise for other examples. Mediterranean diet is largely considered the best for overall health. That is believed to be due to the abundance of healthy fats being mainly omega 3 fatty acids from oil and fish intake. As with anything else in life YMMV

This deal is still available, and Amazon's price is the lowest I found.

It has helped me with my dry eye. I know it won't cure it, but it really helps me with the symptoms. It may not work for everyone....

This is a good deal if you just want to try out fish oil for the benefits. This way you can see if it's beneficial and if so buy a more expensive brand next go round.

Ingredients include Polysorbate 80, which is linked to gut inflammation problems. Completely unnecessary ingredient in fish oil gels. I would avoid brands that use junk like that.

I buy the version that also contains vitamin d. I do this because vitamin d is fat soluble and needs fats to help transport it into the body. I'm not a health professional so this is just my own preference. However, it's a similar price on amazon:

Fish Oil plus Vitamin D3 by Nature's Bounty, Contains Omega 3, Immune Support & Supports Heart Health, 1200mg Fish Oil, 360mg Omega 3, 1000IU Vitamin D3, 90 Softgels https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0021A8...UTF8&psc=1

Please note that the Serving size is 2. You need to take 2 soft gels each time to get those mentioned 2400mg|1200mg Omega-3. Costco product is always the best.. you get 1400mg|980mg of Omega-3 per each soft gel. It's always the amount of Omega-3 that we should see on this product. #SKC

I'm sorry but this is terrible info. 'Coated' for burps is because this is rancid. Good quality fish oil should really never give users 'fish burps' That's a side effect that has come around from crap like this stuff being sold. Taking something like this will give the opposite benefits as intended due to poor quality and is in no way a precursor look at how quality will perform. Go look up 're-esterification' and 'triglyceride form' fish oil to realize why quality is 'expensive'
