Are those still open? The only reason I know newegg has brick and mortar stores is because Microcenter would only price match newegg (back in the day, may their policy has changed since then) if you were somewhere in the NE (I forget where) and were by their brick and mortar store

These CPU's are fine and hella cheap.

I have a i7-7700k would this be a good choice to upgrade to a 11700KF or wait longer for more deals on a 12700K? I already have a 1080 GPU so integrated graphics isn't really something I am worried about.

So I'll agree with those stating that 12th gen cpu's are better in a strict cpu-to-cpu comparison. The 12400 (which also dopped to $160, very good price) beats the 11700kf in gaming and uses less power.

However there's a couple other factors I consider:
-socket 1200 motherboards are much lower in price and available in greater variety
-using socket 1700 means annoying incompatibility with many coolers

picked up i5 11th gen this past weekend for a 2nd build. going to go back and price match it. lol..

lucky.. only 1 for me and still bit of a drive.. but theres amazing tacos 5 mins away so I go for tacos too lol...
