I believe these are made in China. 25% price drop was expected since 25% tariffs are on hold for the rest of 2022.

Still, not too bad if you're wanting something down around 100 watts, and don't want to spend more than $200. I saw a lot of cards that had better performance - for $400 or more. that's usually close to what I spend building an entire pc.

The max losses happened when cranking the settings up to ultra on large map games that will easily exceed the 4gb vram limits (FH5, Borderlands 3). That's not a realistic setting most people building a PC that utilizes this card will be using. This is for the kid playing Roblox, Fortnite, etc.
Saying this is "a bad card" is like saying a Honda Civic is a bad car because it doesn't have the towing capacity of a Silverado. You need to adjust your expectations.

The RX 580 launched at around $200 in 2017 man. That card has the same performance as this card, but also came with double the video memory. It's not a matter of needing to adjust our expectations, you need to understand that when a new card has the same or worse performance as a card from FIVE YEARS AGO for the SAME FRIGGEN PRICE that makes the card a piece of garbage for the money.

Yeah let me find a manufacturer discontinued card for MSRP.
I guess you like getting screwed. Worse card than what they released five years ago and you're defending it -genius.

Maybe you've been living under a rock, but inflation is at record levels. Mostly due to supply and demand. Yes, of course, there are better cards on the market for, you guessed it; more money. If you have $200 to spend on a GPU this is your best option unless you want to risk a used card that was likely mined to death. You and many others don't seem to grasp one concept: limited budgets.

Don't buy actual garbage graphics cards for $200. The 6500xt can't even record gameplay because of the lack of hardware encoding, and if you're on a budget you probably don't have a pcie 4.0 motherboard so you're literally buying something that's bad for the money at full-performance and then slotting it into a system where it does even worse.
This card makes zero sense. Buying it even punishes people building new budget builds because processors like the Ryzen 5 5500 don't even have access to pcie 4.0 (limited to 3.0 maximum) which would seem like a good option to pair with a 6500xt, but in fact only serve to limit the performance further because of the card's own hardware limitations.
Seriously, an Xbox series S is more powerful and it's a fully-functional system for the same money.

Again, you're not offering any real alternatives for $200. You're just mad that this product exists, but in reality it's just as stupid as a 3090 TI when it comes to value for it's performance.

Also RX 6400 was quietly launched today for $159. It's based on a cut down Navi 24 so it might be 20% slower than a RX 6500.
