I've had this bike paired with the Peloton digital subscription on my iPad ($12/month) for the last two years and between my wife and I we have logged close to 400 rides on it in that time. It has been awesome for us and we have been very pleased with the quality. She really wanted a Peloton after a couple of her friends bought them but I just couldn't justify the price and higher monthly membership. We paid $799 for this one and it's a steal at this price for anyone that will use it.

The only things we added were a $30 bike mat from Amazon and some anti-abrasion tape to the seat post. We noticed a pretty bad squeaking when my (much shorter) wife would ride and through the Facebook user group figured out it was due to the post making contact inside the column. I'm right at 6' tall and never had it happen but she drops the bike down to it's second or third lowest setting and it was rather annoying. The tape was less than $5 and got rid of the noise completely.

Cheapest I've seen it was $599 on sale. This is a fantastic deal. I found the Peloton app to be boring by Zwift is a ton of fun.

Just don't pay attention to any Zwift forums or anything like that if you use this bike, haha. Apparently using a spin bike on Zwift is "cheating." No idea how, but sure.

just saw the comment regarding supports zwift, but subscription extra. what does the jrny 1 year subscription get you?

I have both an IC4 and a Peloton Bike+ and trust me the Peloton is by far the better build quality. It isn't even close. Nevertheless, the Schwinn IC4 is a great bike as it approximates about 70% to 80% of the Peloton experience and there's the added flexibility of being able to stream other apps. At $500, this is a no-brainer, great deal.

Yes it works out of the box, but you may want to calibrate it for more accurate reporting: https://forums.zwift.com/t/schwinn-ic4/175730/22

The JRNY subscription is for the online fitness classes and other such things that they offer.
