I have a u6g (Google TV) and if they are similar panels it is definitely brighter than a 4 series TCL. I'm pretty happy overall with it for a cheap set.

Looking at rtings for this TV and see this is the U6GR model with variable refresh rate (VRR) as the Costco description mentions, vs the one rtings reviewed without VRR, so a definite plus.

edit: looks like they reviewed both https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/u6gr

edit again: didn't realize the U6GR is pretty different. It includes eARC too, and use Roku instead of Android TV like the other U series TVs from 2021.

Higher rated than TCL 4 series, more comparable to 5 series

This TV was added to the list of eligible models later in the promo; unfortunately, Costco bumped the price to $449.99 on March 22 so not everyone was able to take advantage of that deal. This is the first time it's returned to the $399.99 price point.

I still plan to submit a $100 gift card claim for this TV since another claim I submitted for a 65" U6GR that I purchased in January (before the promo period) was already approved and paid out. YMMV

Way better then the tcl 4 series.. I just got this Hisense tv about a week ago or so but I returned it back to Costco yesterday only cause I went with the 48" LG C1 oled that was on sale a few days ago. The Hisense tv was definitely a decent TV with VRR at 60hz. It handled my Xbox series X excellently. Imagine quality was good but definitely not oled. If you are on a budget and need something that can do VRR at 60 frames with decent picture quality then I would give this Hisense tv a try plus you can't go wrong with the included 2 year warranty from Costco and a hassle free return ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Like other, I purchased at this price the last time Costco had it at $399. With the $100 promo, it was a pretty slick deal. At $399 it's a pretty good price for what you're getting.
As a bedroom TV, I am super happy with it.
Replaced an older 2018 lower tier 60" Roku Hisense I got from Walmart close out dealโ€ฆ I think I paid $199ish?
Anyway this TV blows it out of the water.
The brightness, color, and deep blacks are pretty great. I just stream and like the Roku ecosystem so this TV has been a slam dunk.

For those who paid 449 to take advantage of the 100 dollar giftcard from Hisense last month, you can go to Costco customer service to get back the difference.

Bought this in store a couple months ago. Online it said it was 399 and the tag in store said the same, but it rang up for 369.

Also, it replaced a TCL 4 series and this has a much better picture.

The rtings review says that standard definition 480p content gets stretched out and they couldn't fix it on their model. Has anyone else had this happen? That would drive me insane.
