This Year, for the 1st time, Acer has done some major redesign to their Nitro 5 series, making it similar to their Predator Helios 300 series. Below are some of the key upgrades: -
The Design is more streamlined than the all Gamerly look in the last 3 generations. It still looks like a gaming laptop but design is more streamlined.
Instead of using the lower wattage GPU in the Nitro series, this time, they are going with full wattage GPU. The RTX 3060 version is having 140W TGP (115W + 25W Dynamic Boost) and the RTX 3070 Ti version having 150W TGP (130W + 20W Dynamic Boost)
The Thunderbolt 4 port is included and for the 1st time, it supporting Charging via Power Delivery, although just 65W.
For the 1st time, they have included a MUX Switch in Nitro series.
The Display also received a big update. Although a 1440p 165Hz option was available to the 2021 model, this one has better color gamut and response time. As per Ultrabookreview, the new 17.3" and 15.6" QHD models are having 99.9% sRGB, 84% Adobe RGB and 99.2% DCI-P3 and 1215:1 Contrast Ratio, This high color gamut coverage makes it a very good choice for Professional Design works. As per my knowledge, Only QHD Panels from Asus and Alienware offer similar high color gamut coverage. Lenovo Legion, HP Omen series QHD/QHD+ panels offer less than 80% Adobe RGB and P3 color gamut.

according to last year reviews, looks like you can replace the memory (but not 100% certain for this year's model)
