Just to be aware, Vigoro is 2cuft, Scott's is 1.5cuft pack. I also purchased from lowes this time… this and also the scott's 4 season grass fertilizer.
Good deal, this sale only happens once per year.

Nice! I needed more mulch and got banned from Lowe's during their $2 mulch sale last week, so this is great for me!

Is this better than the Lowe's mulch? In the past, people used to say that Lowe's uses ground up pallets to make their mulch, and you'd often find nails in it. Not sure if that was true. I forgot which brand I normally use.

I hate the quality of this stuff (mold, rocks, plastic, blocks of wood) but just had mulch delivered for the first time...cost me almost three times what it costs me grab the bags. Quality appears better, but color isn't any better. Lesson learned, will go back to the bags next year, $2 is a great deal.

I bought Scott's over a year ago and red color is still good. Lowes faded out after a couple of months.

For homeowners, this stuff is a godsend. It's funny and sort of crazy how much gardening stuff costs. Those tiny containers of ground cover seem cheap until you realize you need like 100 of them.

For those who rent, be glad!

Purchased over 30 bags from Lowes last week during their Spring BF event, not a single nail, but I did notice some fungus which is somewhat expected considering moisture content. Also used Vigoro and Earthgro which I've found are sometimes slightly different in color compared to Lowes.
