I think I remember when this sold for a penny a piece around 1970; now it's 4 cents a piece...could be worse I guess

The fireball, an extremely hot and highly luminous spherical mass of air and gaseous weapon residues, occurs within less than one millionth of one second of the weapon's detonation. Immediately after its formation, the fireball begins to grow in size, engulfing the surrounding air.

With inflation, these are actually almost half price/each from what you paid in 1970.

Using a handy online inflation calculator....

If in 1970
I purchased an item for $0.01
then in 2022
that same item would cost: $0.07
Cumulative rate of inflation: 641.0%

and if you bought 240 at $0.01, $2.40, then this same 240 deal would cost you $17.78 🧮 So, yeah, it COULD be worse than 41% off.

I'm shocked to see the usual gang of Debbie Downers aren't posting about these candies causing diabetes ! Is it because the candy isn't chocolate ?
