3 would be better still. Or how about if it was a table saw instead of the glue gun?

And on tool plus battery deals, you always see people complaining that no charger is included.

A few years ago I'm fairly certain I paid this much just for the tool. I do not regret that purchase at all. Yes it's not particularly fast in heating up (2~3min?) but a cordless glue gun has come in so usefully. In addition to fastening things on many occasions I've used it for a quick caulking job.

Being a homeowner (& non professional usage) I don't keep open (sealed w/ a screw) caulking tubes lying around & if I need something caulked for a few months before it hardens & loses it's flexibilty/waterproofingness I always whip out this tool. I also have wired glue gun but most times will still use this one b/c being cordless it's so convient (even for indoor jobs.)

Have you ever seen this model on sale with two 1.5 amp batteries for this price or less? Personally, I would rather have one 4amp for the weight to stand.

This will give you about 30 to 45 minutes run time and although one temperature, this 305 puts out the same 60 watts as the high temp setting of the dual temp 307.

Delivered, a decent deal with battery and charger.

Hold the charger and provide a larger battery would be a bigger draw for many. I have two
chargers I'm not using, as is.

Looks like this would work pretty well for paintless dent repair. The PDR glue sticks fit according to youtube.

Have had this cordless glue gun for a few years now! Awesome tool to have for DIYer! You will come up with all sorts of repairs and uses once you have used this glue gun for a period of time.

Funny how when I did not have any Ryobi tools or battery, every deal I see on SD was tool only because of HD hack (buy set, cancel the battery) or DTO. Now that I finally bit on a set that included batteries and charger, it seems that every deal I see includes battery and charger.

$35.10 if you have military discount available. Home Depot now honors the discount on online purchases.

In for 1.

I have this glue gun - definitely can recommend it. Works great, virtually no drips, convenient to use. Takes me 5+ mins to warmup, and I use with a 3ah battery. Not sure how awesome a 1.5ah would be, but i'm sure it'll work. The power draw getting up to temp is significant, but then it can hold temp pretty well so doing longer sessions with the smaller battery is definitely preferred over a bunch of small uses spread out that all require the heat-up from ambient.

Would be better if it came with 3 4AH batteries, with a free 80V lawnmower.

Is this as good as it gets if you need a charger? I could wait for the bare tool inflator to drop to <$30, then.

Q: Do you have words to live by?
A: Jim Jarmusch once told me "Fast, Cheap, and Good…pick two. If it's fast and cheap it won't be good. If it's cheap and good it won't be fast. If it's fast and good it won't be cheap." Fast, cheap, and good…pick (2) words to live by.

If you don't need the battery and charger, just wait for another 30 percent off sale on these at Direct Tools Outlet. You can pick one up for around $20. Almost grabbed one last time but would rather grab the compact version and they were out of stock.
