This is a great price on wonderful monitor for both general use and gaming. Be aware that this model features the fully-adjustable stand, adjusts both for height and rotates to portrait mode as well. There's another model with the same panel but featureless stand, sometimes cheaper

I don't know why all the hate for a VA panel. I've had this monitor since December and the color looks good and blacks are great. Only issue with VA is if you have a bright room or are looking at it off angle. If either of those are a concern then go with an IPS panel if not this is a great monitor.

Do consider this model with a minor flaw if you notice and was discussed at length when this model went on sale during nov-dec of 2021 at Costco.

Issue:-
When you watch the edge of the screen at an angle the gap between the screen and backlight is very noticeable and has caused uncomfortable viewing for a few.

1. One option to notice this issue is if you connect to the computer and notice the windows "x" at the top from an angle it is very prominent.

2. It is also very prominent if you move your windows taskbar to the left/right of the frame.

3. Alternatively open SD on the browser and notice the scroll position from an angle

This issue prevails on most monitors but it is not that noticeable but on this model it is.

Search SD for detailed discussions by folks who have returned it for this reason.

I went to Costco to see if this was true and it's really obvious. I had the older version at 144hz and this wasn't an issue. Would be awesome deal if it was like the older version.

I bought this 32" LG monitor last year Nov. on Black Friday. I just refunded it yesterday because it didn't power on anymore. It last less than 6 months.

For general use, is QHD enough pixels for 32" monitor? Thinking UHD might be better choice.

I heard about this before buying, went to Costco to see it in person and bought it anyways. It's definitely there but I don't look at the edges very much for it to bother me. Other than that I absolutely love the screen.

QHD at 32" is the same ppi as a 1080p 24" monitor. I had a qhd 27 monitor and found the text too small and 32 QHD is my personal sweet spot. 4k at 32 would be similar to QHD at 27. I'm sure you could replicate the effect of the higher PPI's by moving what you have now closer or further away. You could also scale the text in MS windows but this never works properly in my experience.

Good luck thinking you'll find a high refresh rate uhd for anywhere remotely close to this price 🤣
