Great headset, especially for cockpit sims (racing/flying, etc). Resolution and clarity is one of the best and I've been loving it for iRacing where I can focus on things in the distance without having to squint or be distracted by the screen-door effect. Had a couple of dead pixels on one panel and RMA'd with HP and got a different headset back without any dead-pixel issues.

Yeah I was planning to buy it at the $449 price yesterday and when I checked it had gone up overnight. Not happy.

If you missed this (like me), I'd suggest checking Microcenter for any deals. Especially if this gets refreshed/discontinued. I managed to buy the last-gen hp winVR headset for something like $150 (actually less, I bought an open box. But the bluetooth and cabling covered the difference) at Microcenter when this came out.

Thanks but I don't think Microcenter carries the Reverb G2. The two stores by me (I know I'm lucky) don't seem to have them listed at all.

I logged in through a PaW portal(at my job) and it took me to the HP website and I had to register with HP.
