Does Costco sample these in store?

I'm assuming not, since you end up smelling like their hotdogs regardless of what you do while you're there.

HotDog Costco Cologne…?

You might be onto something there! EEK!worshipwoot

I bought Versace eris from Costco last time and and it doesn't last longer than 10 min. Waste of money.

It's because it's the eau de toilette. The eau de parfum is much better

I'm just curious how people know how long it lasts. I've seen such reviews for every perfume sold on Costco. Do you ask someone or different people? Because after putting it on you can't smell the perfume after a while as you are used to it and the same goes for someone who is with you.

Received the Wood Neroli yesterday. Doesn't last longer than an hour (unlike a sample I procured from Macy's last week). These fragrances seem to be watered down versions of the originals (didn't believe the comments of poorer quality fragrances at Costco but now those seem to be valid - going to try the "maceration" bit but unlikely to work considering how light the fragrance is). Also have a Terre De Hermes from Costco which I picked up in store 2 years back and that's a beast in performance, so this may also be specific to Bulgari at Costco.

I want to try those Creed ones but can't justify spending so much money. I always figured it didn't matter what you smelled like as long as you didn't smell like ass.

Costco used to sell the Terre De Hermes parfum and now it's eau de toilette.
Wish I'd ordered it when they sold the parfum.

I've had the same problem with Santal 33 that I purchased from Costco…it just doesn't last. I don't think it's counterfeit but it's nothing like the bottle that I purchased directly from Le Labo.

I have the EDT, Parfum, Intense Vetiver and the Eau Givree versions of Terre De Hermes and the Parfum is probably my least favorite of the bunch unfortunately. While it does smell similar to the EDT, it has a few extra notes that make it seem a bit "off" -- the EDT seems to be much more enjoyable (my favorite of the bunch is still Intense Vetiver!)

A lot of fragrances need to sit for a bit, especially after being in transit and being newly opened. Typically once you receive it and use it a handful of times, it will start to improve over the next few weeks. It's very common with fragrances, new and old, and even bottles from the same age will show differences between one you had sitting in storage and just opened compared to one you've been using for months/years.

I'll be waiting for Costco to release their own Kirkland Man, Kirkland Spice and Kirkland Oud Wood.
