I have a few 4K fire sticks and all of them have the same issue… when a update is done automatically it appears the temporary files from the update(s) are not removed. Each update takes more space away until the next thing you know… you receive a low storage warning. You are good for the first 6-12 months then there is a need to restore the sticks to factory settings, put the same apps back on it. The end results of the restoring is going from 100's of megabytes free space to several gigs of free space. Same exact apps on it before and after.

Amazon has been stating that their developers are "aware" and "working on it", but they have been saying that since December.

Just a heads up on the issue and the workaround to fix it. The space on all of the sticks are slowly losing storage and it looks like I am going to have to this again in a couple of months from now. Just a heads up and not a complaint. I love the 4K sticks, but I am not a fan of that glitch.

If someone knows a better workaround please let me know, but that fixes it regardless

A little birdie told me Amazon is going to have the 4K Fire Stick Max on sale for $35 in the next week or two. They usually go on sale every now and then.

Yes, same here, seems account specific. I bought 2 of these already when it came out and another one on BF/CM so I think it depends on if you are 1st time buyer or not. Same price on both of these prior occasions. I think they hit this price about once a quarter.

The "killer feature" for the parents are the dedicated Netflix and Prime video buttons on the remote, otherwise the old one would have done the trick.

If you want to tinker these can be hacked to use a cleaner UI so Amazon doesn't shove ads and their content in your face nonstop. The newer UI has gotten pretty annoying about this

Onn uhd box. I have 6 fire stick 4k max collecting dust now. Simple tv launcher disable animations and fully customizable. Much faster and only 20 bucks
