Not thread-crapping as I am always looking to buy good/useful tech

No touchscreen
No USB-C charging from what I recall????
This graphics card vs. a 1050ti for reference

My overall opinion is this would be good content creator's laptop and maybe for light to medium gaming. Price feels warm for the specs.

Kind of funny that they include a discrete gpu that's worse than (or arguably equivalent) than the integrated graphics of the processor. Maybe they knew the 8gb of ram wouldn't be enough if it was shared memory with the igpu, but wouldn't it have been cheaper to put 16gb of ram in there versus a discrete mx350?

No problem. I do the same thing when I am on the fence. The Vivo book has always been compelling to me. If you want it, it is definitely not a bad deal.

This is an interesting take and possibly a good one. I am not up on mobile hardware pricing.

I use my Microsoft Store version for content streaming/consumption and it's great for that.

I used to toggle and dick around with HDR to get the max picture, but it was a pain and I just use it in its stock configuration and it's great.

Aged tech (weird discrete gpu choice with iris almost as good, weird ram choice with 4gb onboard) with an oled slapped on to get people to buy…

12th gen are out. OLEDs are everywhere. New Ryzens are out. New everything is out. This is like a new 2 year old laptop…

this laptop wasn't made in consideration for gamers..its not a gaming laptop so no they didnt just put the dgpu in there for monetary reasons. But yes any laptop with 8 gb of ram would benefit w a bump to 16 gb.

This is an old OLED panel with slow PWM brighness. The display will flicker at 60Hz at any brightness level below 100%. Also, flicker gets more noticeable as screen gets bigger, so OLED phone screen at 60Hz is not as bad as 15" laptop screen.
