There is something wrong with the algorithim that these zon deal posters use. They are often fooled by deals that are really marked up to look like a deal. Got to be careful so I don't get flamed by the bots for being critical of zon deal. THis person is staff, but there are some others I am becoming convinced are bots...maybe they were legit posters at one time then relegated it to software.

The camel says it aint a deal.

Haha, you can call me a bot, but I am not. I think I went through about 250 pages of amazon stuff last night. I was watching a new batman movie and this felt like a better use of my time, haha...

I did find few 50 pack of bits for like $6 but who needs 50 pack of same, low quality bits and they weren't on stock... (one could order though)

When it comes to bits, I would pay a few $ extra, so they dont screw the heads of my screws .....

I will gladly pay $0.80 a piece for these quality BOSCH bits than the ten cents a piece crap ones that strip out as soon as the screw hits a knot in the wood. Thanks OP.

You definitely need these for projects. I just bought a two pack of DeWalt ones from Lowe's a few days ago thanks to the suggestion of the guy there for a garage project I was doing. I was using that cheap standard one that came with my Craftsman impact driver I bought and had snapped a few screw heads off. I am wondering now if that bit that came with it was the problem. I don't understand why when then sell these things they don't come with at least one of these types of bits, they are worth what, $2 at retail, just seems like a shitty thing to do to your customers, especially someone like me that never had an impact driver before. I screwed in about 20 screws with the proper #2 bit I got and not a single snapped screw head.

So Phillips gets credit but not Robertson - he has to settle for "square"? Bought one.

I prefer robertson and torx as well, but sadly, only in the last few years we have started making those readily available

My recommendation is to spend the 10 bucks more on a full bit set that has all the bits. Only buy individual bits one at a time to replace the ones you have lost or broke
