Agreed, if you are planning on docking a laptop this replaces the charger, the dock unit, the speakers, several extra cables, with one amazingly tidy connection. That's worth $100 and then some. If you don't plan on using those features, it might not be.

You referring to the 32" ultrafine 4k model? Yes, that is also ergostand. I want that one too!

I bought this monitor 2 weeks ago for $349 which was after $100 off. I'll try to get a refund on 29th.

This is a very nice monitor for wfh. No need to buy monitor arms and the ergo stand works a lot better than the monitor arms you can buy below $100. So $300 is a great deal. Plus, it has usbc and built in speakers.

Received and installed the monitor today.
Compared the 4k UN880 model, the stand is different, especially where clamps attach to desks. With UN880, you may drill a hole on desk for attachment, not this one.
In addition, this monitor lacks DCI-P3 or sRGB color modes in UN880.

The manual says:

"For tables without a protrusion -The table should be less than 75 mm (2.9 inches) thick. ≤75 mm (2.9 inches)"

"Stands that are not fully engaged to the table may allow the monitor to wobble or fall over.
•Make sure the table is solid and stable enough to fully support installation of the monitor. Tables made of fragile materials such as glass may break.
•For tables with a protrusion -If the protrusion is located more than 95 mm (3.7 inches) away from the edge of the table, install the monitor only when a flat protrusion is located between 10 mm (0.4 inches) to 75 mm (2.9 inches) from the edge of the table."
Thank you!!

How was the resolution? I am thinking of spending the extra $200 for the 4k monitor, as I am afraid that QHD isn't enough for a 32 inch screen. But I have no idea if that's true in this case (using for work, nothing too fancy like video editing or gaming)
I have this for work and an ultrawide. I would get the 4k version once it goes on sale.

Does anyone know if it's true that the 2 x USB-A downstream ports are limited to USB 2.0 speeds with a USB-C to USB-C cable? That's what it says in the manual and kinda sucks if true.

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy the ergo stand by itself? I have a different monitor and really interested in this style.
Maybe ebay?

I bought this but returned it right away. It is a deal. But you cannot lower the height low enough, 32 inch is a big monitor, I end up have to lift my head a bit to see this. I ending up getting the 4K unit which can lower the height quite a bit. Hate that I have to pay full price.

Please be warned that 4K unit has an issue with USB-C port. If you reboot your computer, USB-C would stop working (no video, no power delivery). The work around is to power cycle the monitor.

I have two 4K monitors (Model 32UN880) connected to different laptops and they work flawlessly when connecting/disconnecting/restarting.

Isn't this almost same as the $200 32" LG monitor that was on sale not long ago from Costco? The spec looks same to me. Except no USB C connection.
I'd buy the $200 one if both were on sale.

What is the minimum height between the table and the bottom of the screen (where the pixels start - not the bezel)?

I got this monitor and the $200 LG one as well.
But I like this $300 model better because of the power delivery thru Type C cable that can be connected to my laptop using one cable while charging.
Also it has pretty decent built in monitor. Of course the monitor arm is very sturdy which can easily cost over 100 bucks by itself.
So I think it is a better deal compared to $200 one which is lacking built in speakers, Type C power thru and the built in monitor arm.

Nope. It is not the standard size Vesa mount. I wish it was.
However, the motion of the arm is very smooth with right amount of tension to adjust the monitor at pretty much any angle at horizontal or vertical

I've been using the 4k one for a while now and like it. Only thing I don't like is no auto switching input sources, have to manually change between usb-c and displayport for work/personal. The stand and screen are very nice though.
wait whoa are you seirous? it doesnt auto change input?

Just received this monitor and I noticed the plastic frame along the bottom doesn't sit flush against the panel the entire length. It bulges out at certain points. Is anyone else's like this?
