Ooh might need to get this. Was looking to get a 3060ti for around $500 if I can find. Is a 3060ti a big jump in performance?I do light gaming nothing crazy and upgrade my parts every 4-5 years

The two cards offer vastly different performance as a result, too. In our testing, at 1440p, we're seeing the RTX 3060 Ti delivering 35 percent higher frame rates on average. That's not a bad return for a card with a 21 percent higher price tag.
MSRP is $329 so it's not too inflated but I'm personally holding out until end of year when the 4000 series fleet released
There are 2 versions of the 3060. The $329 version does not come with the backplate. Same thing with 3050 cards. The $250 version of the 3050 does not have the backplate. The backplate versions are boosted a little, but not worth the premium. This card is the version with the backplate.
Another thing I noticed is the 3050 cards are PCIe x8 vs. PCIe x16 for the 3060 & beyond.

3060 ti MSRP is $400. Wait for msrp prices.
AMD RX6600 and 6600XT are at or near MSRP already and the 6600XT performs only slightly worse than the 3060 Ti.

Yes, hold out for the TI . Don't let the ram fool you on the 3060. It is a 192bit bus and a smaller GPU. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 vs RTX 3060 Ti | PC Gamer [pcgamer.com]

There's no link for making a buy - just one about free shipping etc etc
EDIT
OK so make a buy on listed retailers even though they say "Backordered" like Newegg?
Amazon and Micro Center are linked but they have higher prices
