The 4ah shown in the picture is the newer style slim battery with different cells. I think they're moving away from those big ones.

I really hope it comes with the slim 4ah or I'm going to be disappointed.

DCB240 is the new battery. DCB204 is the bulky XR style.

Pictures in amazon comments from different buyers are all showing bulky 4ah battery, low star comments complain the size, why wouldn't ppl worry?

Are these with the better cells (non 18650)? Don't NEED these, but very tempting price. I've got a couple Flexvolt tools but no Flexvolt battery yet. I wonder if this 6 Ah battery is better than the Flexvolt 6 Ah if this is better cells. I believe the FV 6 Ah is 18650 cells

Damn do I need this? I've been looking for some 4-5ah but I guess 6 don't hurt either.

I'm a DIYer and would only really be using these for a vacuum, 1/2" mid torque impact, and the small Atomic circular saw. The 2ah's have been fine on my drill and small impact.

I could use an extra charger to keep in the truck too. I guess I'm answering my own question.

Edit: ugh there goes $105. Had some points on Amazon.

Yeah I was going to order from them direct until I saw shipping wasn't included.

I get 5% back on Amazon with my card so only looking at a $4-5 difference to just order through Amazon than make an account with Maxtool.

I know it's just a picture, but why does the 4 Ah battery look SOOO much smaller than the 6 Ah one? Sold through Amazon ... is it fair to doubt that these are genuine DeWalt parts?

Thanks for that link. Dewalt lists a DCB206 and a DCB240 on there, which is what's shown in the picture. I guess we'll see. I'll probably complain If it isn't the 240 since that's what DeWalt lists in the kit.

In case no one has answered yet
.. you need a Flexvolt 60v battery with a Flexvolt 60v tool. They cannot run on the 20v.

Unless you have one of Flex Advantage or a *____* (dang I forgot the name of the other big box store version) that allows you to run both.

So, these batteries will not work with a Flexvolt tool.
