Possibly YMMV, but I have a BOGO free coupon at Kroger, so I can get two 5 packs for 9.99 (the 2 pack are 6.29) in my area.

I mean if these were not safe I'd probably be dead because I've used these things religiously over my entire life and they're very popular too. The only thing about them is they don't last very long if you have the burner to the highest setting, which Id assume most people would. So expect these to last about 7-10 days before having to replace them. I honestly just buy them from Sam's/Costco.
