But this chromebook isn't worth it because of the mediatek processor? Saw this chromebook as good price and good screen and it having double the size of space compared to my other chromebooks. But how come so many good reviews for this lenovo on best buy site though?
Did read you cannot install linux in it which would be big disadvantage? Such as once the support and updates are done for it, then wouldn't it make sense to install linux after it for security?
So a costco chromebook with a n4020 with celeron processor is always superior? Costco few times has these two asus chromebooks on sale below for around 200 dollars and below but not now. But both these asus would be preferred over the lenovo mediatech processor? Even the asus chromebook with the lower level intel celeron processor? What about the hp laptop below that? All are better choices than the lenovo? But both asus are superior than the lenovo at around similar
prices? Thus either of these two chromebook on sale at say 200 dollars better buy than the lenovo at this pricepoint?

For a 4GB RAM machine it is pretty impressive. The only time I notice things is when apps are starting up. Once they get going, they're fine.
Screen (1080 IPS, 300 nits) is fine. I like the touch screen when I use it, but it doesn't seem to work as well in the Linux environment, but I may not have the settings right. Battery life is great. The only things I would have liked were a backlit keyboard and a 2-in-1 capability, but I wasn't willing to spend at least twice the price.
From what I've read, the MT8183 benchmarks better than the N4020. (cpubenchmark.net, etc.) In general, I won't ever buy a Celeron. Ever. Period. Now an i3 is possible, but at what price? Then I might just run Linux native.

So you could install linux on this processor? Read some comments you can't install linux on this processor and you need intel celeron. Confused here. Did you install linux on this lenovo chromebook with that mediatek processor?
