Not to mention the asinine distance most of us would have to drive to a MC...all because they insist on going the way of Circuit City by not keeping up with the times (selling online).

But clearly I'm not the one who has something to prove here.
The lousy +2 popularity confirms I'm right.

I get his point on the price comparison for a whole pc (gpus bundled in pcs tend to be closer to msrp), but for a barebones system that's not an accurate comparison

Basically if you don't mind the idea of just slotting in your own CPU and ram, using all these parts for a while for a pretty good graphics card and motherboard, tacking on an 11700k which is currently 200 bucks (or kf for 20 cheaper), and a nice cheap 16gb set of ram for 50-60, would bring the total cost up to nearly the same price as just that motherboard and gpu separately. This is a steal given currently pricing trends. Yeah the psu is bronze, yeah the case is kinda ugly, but those two things can be easily swapped out for cheap given the amount of admitted slick deals for those two categories on this site every month. you might not even spend more than an extra 200 getting those swapped out for something nicer. and that's only if you even really care to sometime down the line.
if you don't have a pc, and want a pretty decent build, this is a solid way to go.
ALSO: the site description doesn't say it, but the picture on the box and the product pictures show a ROG STRIX 240 or 280mm AIO cooler. Which adds at least another 160 dollars to the value of this box.
