What's a tier 1 brand? As far as I know all the major brands have different tiers of models so you can no longer just go by brand.

Just note. For anyone who is wanting to use this for antenna tv there is no built in TV guide. Must scroll each channel manually and hit info to see what's playing. The tv is capable of showing it but there is no option to do so. Very weird omission from Vizio considering my 10 year old pioneer plasma and my 3 year old Samsung have it but important enough for me to probably not buy another Vizio tv.

I'd go with Vizio as it's a tier 2 brand vs JVC which is a tier 3. Also Costco provides 90 days tech support & return policy, minimum of 2 years warranty, and up to 4% cash back with their CC

Kind of wish I had snagged the MQ7 from GameStop a week or so ago for $325 (only a 50" though). Pretty good deal on this one though too.

So many TV deals lately, RCA, JVC from Walmart. LG from Target. Damn. Spending money that I don't need

I own the 58" MQ6 version for my bedroom and love it. Solid mid-tier TV with a few nice bells & whistles

Is there anyway to get the Spectrum App to run on this TV without a separate set top box/roku?

Yes. Cast from the phone app! Works very well.
