What does one do with 50 flash drives. I know flash drives still have their place, but 50? At $3 a piece, it's a steal per drive, I can't think of a use for that many.

For those that do not need 50 USB Flash drives, Micro Center has the following:

https://www.microcenter.com/produ...rive-white

$3.99 but USB 3.2 Gen 1

There is also the "Free 32GB USB Flash Drive" at Micro Center.

Police Departments use them for evidence. Usually the drive with digital evidence gets put up with the physical evidence.

In security sensitive environments, flash drives are only ever used once. In order to avoid transferring malware

Nearly 10 years ago, I used to work for a company that gave us a new box of drives per week. Once you use it, it's yours to keep. 4GB, but still free and in bulk.

Funny how it was hell getting another notepad or pen, but flash drives were filling the bins

And they only order from vetted sources such as the manufacturer where they inflate the price to like $50 for a 4gb flash drive. I've seen projects get delayed because a flash drive didn't arrive on time.

National security and all but it's still ass backwards.
