What is the difference between premium lock vs premium lock + spare? Is the latter always longer than former, or is it just extendable?

I believe the spare one is for vehicles with a spare tire on the back.

How do I see the reviews of different models? Amazon and Walmart reviews are all mixed.

For Amazon:

Under the "Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2019" it shows the style.

After reading the reviews, I cancelled the order. The main reason is that it doesn't fit 4 bikes with different sizes/shapes.

Will the 5-bike version a better fit for a 4 bikes setup?

I don't need to load all 4 bikes, i am more concern about how sturdy is it. Anyone bought and have some personal experience?

I have the 5 bike version of this rack.

Filling any bike rack like this to capacity is going to be like putting together a jigsaw puzzle.

I like the quality of the rack, but I am disappointed because mine is like two years old and a few of the rubber straps have broken already. It spends most of the time in the garage, so not sure what is up with that.

Would just suggest getting a few extra rubber straps so you have replacements.

It's not a Yakima or Thule rack, but it's also not nearly as much as either of them. I've had 4 bikes on mine and I felt very confident about the strength of the rack.
