I agree with what you're saying, but personally I've had so many issues with counterfeit products from Amazon (first party, never third) that unless it's an extremely good deal it isn't worth the hassle anymore and I'd much prefer to just give a better business my money. Plus, I've had numerous other issues with Amazon including having to fight with Amazon employees who can't understand basic context and having to spend hours to try and get a a refund for an item Amazon had already received back.

I think if I continue to shop with Amazon they're eventually going to ban me for returning all the literal junk they send me.
It's the same price direct from Samsung, or slightly less with education discount.

I don't trust Amazon to not send counterfeit goods. Commingled inventory is a known issue that they won't address.

This is a great card that I highly recommend.

But it has been this price for at least a month.

I think it's a revised lineup that's fairly recent. Even counterfeiters need time to spit out junk. I would trust buying it now.

If you can get a free return then just use Samsung's software to check if it is genuine.

If so, keep for a good price.

If not, return for a full refund.

Outside of a little wasted time, I'm struggling to see a downside.

It fluctuated last week. Which is why it was strange when it went up to 27.99, it suddenly got attention. Then it spiked up like 10 bucks for a day or two. Then dropped to this.

Weird, shipping is free for me. But it's not applying the education discount. Usual Samsung site wonkiness.

What I am trying to find out is....what are the real differences between this new version and the old.

I know the specs say there is an improvement. But I am also seeing a ton of people indicate that they are having more issues with the new version than they did with the old.
To be fair...I would expect some of that. I am just trying to determine how widespread it is.

Did they sacrifice some of the stability for the extra speed....or is this as stable..or even more so than the older version?
