Walmart+ is honestly pretty cool. It's like the early days of Prime when you could buy anything, no matter how cheap, with 2-day shipping.

I've ordered $2 jars of spices, a single box of Cheez-its, a single thing of oat milk, etc and all with fast free shipping. It's great when you forget something at the store.

this is actually pretty good and good to see WM+ expanding benefits. Something to other considering signing up, I've noticed in our local WM gas station, even though it says 10 cents. It's up to 10 cents. In my case, it's 5 cents off though. Better than nothing. Cheaper than Costco.

I have an AMEX card that gives me 5% cash back at the pump.

If I use this 5% CB card in the Walmart App's Wallet - will the purchase be coded as Gasoline or Walmart on the statement?

It would be awesome to stack the 5% cash back which is like $0.23 per gallon @$4.50 gas + the $0.10 discount.

You wanna' checkout using your phone and avoid standing in line next to everyone? You gotta' pay for that feature. It's not like we're in a pandemic or anything. Oh. You did pay for that feature and now you find out that you STILL have to stand in line in order to checkout because you have to scan your phone at the register. What's the benefit in checking out with your phone if you're still required to have to stand in line??

Within the app you click services, membership pieces on fuel, and then it brings up your camera and u scan the qr code at the pump. The gas price changes accordingly and it charges the amount to your card through the app

You go into the app and on the bottom click "Services"
- Under the section of "walmart+ Member Benefits" you will see "Member prices on fuel" - click that and then you scan the QR code at the pump.

You pump your gas and it is paid via the CC in your Walmart Wallet.

I plan on changing the credit card in the app to my Amex blue 5% when paying for gas and then changing it back to the plat for the monthly fee.

At Murphys you enter a code that the app show into the pump. Maybe the qr code is new or at the other stations. As I used this method at Murphys a few days ago.

I've spoke quite negatively about W+ in the past but I have to admit they are getting better. Perhaps we are not in the busy shopping season but shipped items have been arriving on-time, grocery delivery drivers actually paid attention to instructions to reduce bags used (my state charges for plastic bags), and generally the end-to-end experience has been smooth without issues. I am in favor of Amazon having a stronger competition which benefits consumers so I am glad to see Walmart up its game. Never used the gas benefit but there are a couple of Mobile stations nearby so will give those a shot.

I plan on canceling Walmart+ soon, as I no longer need the grocery delivery. I haven't bought gas since 2019, so that is of no benefit. Besides, the 5% from my Sam's Mastercard would be over 25 cents back on a gallon.
