Same ol MODVEL junk with a ton of fake Amazon reviews.

Not sure why I felt compelled to write this but maybe it helps someone: I used to wear a brace for one of my knees after tearing my ACL. Knee hurt without it for years. At some pt a doc told me I shouldn't keep relying on one the rest of my life bc my muscles become "lazy".. I also acknowledged I kept using it out of fear for the pain and my knee collapsing again. I stopped using it for a while. Interestingly- eventually my pain disappeared. So the way I look at these things nowadays: if you have a chronic condition great - but don't use them in perpetuity without consulting a pro.

I fell for this one time off Slickdeals. It's useless shill crap that I can't return. Bought it for my moms knee but wound up becoming loose over time and did nothing for her. I wouldn't even call this a compression sleeve. I learned over time how to identify shill stuff on slickdeals and have been better about being naive on this platform. Just a heads up for anyone new to slickdeals

Do compression sleeves really work for what they're intended for?

Yes! I bought these same things over a year ago and they help me tremendously. I felt like me knees were always a little swollen/poofy looking so I gave them a chance. Within an hour or less normally it'll bring the swelling and pain down, or if I know I'll be doing something that will aggravate my knees I'll wear them as a preventative. Follow their sizing guide, and if your measurement could fall in between two sizes, go with the smaller one. The goal is a nice snug fit.

Code didn't work , think it's only for certain sizes. Tried L, XL, XxlL all were higher, but there was a $4 coupon offered.

Yes, I recently started working out again and have been dealing with pain. I picked up some of these at CVS, and compression has been helping my knee pain.

If you look online, you will see most medical sources mention R.I.C.E. for knee pain. Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation.

Absolutely. They keep everything in the knew area stable. Whether I'm balling or doings legs my knees feel so much more stable.

But this brand is my ok bc the sticky thing will eventually fall off causing the sleeves to slide down easier.

I wear the ones with side stabilizers. These don't have them.

I bought a pair the last time these came up and honestly, the pain on my skin outweighs the stability in my joint. The sizing is good, they just pull and tug and generally make my knee area feel sweaty and uncomfortable. I did a squat workout and a couple runs in one of them and felt no real difference, either during or after.

Not returning them, but saving them for an acute injury. But in reality I'll probably go with an ace bandage for better targeting.

Not terrible, just didnt really work for me. My mid-70s mom with knee arthritis LOVES them.

I mostly do walking so not intensive exercising and just use a knee sleeve just in case since I popped my knee cap many years ago. Never needed surgery, but probably popped it a couple times since . I've used this knee sleeve since 2020, no major issues but it's gotten a bit loose on the top part so I do have to adjust it.

Funny how certain generic "brands" pop up on SD so often that I instantly recognize them by name.

This repeated shill post always makes FP... Makes me think there is a relationship between SD and this seller.

I have the one with side supports but it is extremely uncomfortable and I hope these will be different. Agree with the comments that this will be no life changing but you can't really go wrong for $10.
I tore up my medial collateral ligament in my right knee 6 weeks ago during the skiing accident and I will give this a shot and try wearing it on short hikes or bike rides.
