Anyone know if they are still making more Halo Infinite consoles?

More like scalpers don't want them anymore. The production finally caught up to demand and street prices have leveled out to MSRP.

Only true for the resellers/scalpers. They don't see any profit from this anymore so of course the "demand" isn't there for them.

The demand from us regular folk, the demand is still there.

You'd think that from a "pro" like you, you'd understand.

Just in time for the newer, better, and cheaper xbox's to be announced.
Only thing in the cards anytime soon is a disc-less series x, likely at the $399.99 price point. There will not be a mid cycle refresh for at a minimum 2 years from now. lol 😆

Yep. However, now that the wait is finally over, I'm not even sure I'm down for buying, even at the 20% off I got on gift cards. Thinking about holding out until they allow for non-SeaGarbage overpriced storage. Hmmm.
You can use external drive for storage.

Damn.. You know they're over stocked with these if Microsoft is selling from their official site O.o
Rumor is that Microsoft paid extra to the chip foundries last year, so that they could get more supply in the stores. It's why you can generally find a Series S on store sheleves at any given time and why the Series X can be sold "regularly" now. The reason PS5 is harder to find is because Sony didn't pay extra, so they still have a smaller number of cpus. All of this is rumor.

Can't help but feel like MS is intentionally holding back a little and sort of 'drip feeding' these so they can keep the impression alive it is hard to obtain. Hopefully that means they'll have a lot of extra consoles by holiday to do BF deals with.

Heads up to not split payment of the console with any other form. microsoft.com has an error and likely wont' charge it right. i got the bundle a coupon of weeks ago and $15 was supposed to charge to paypal and the rest use existing store credit. Even showed such on the order confirmation. Order only ended up charging $26 to microsoft credit and the rest to paypal. Now I've got a metric ton of credit that was earmarked for the console. Customer service was usless. Only option was to return and rebuy.

They're crazy if they think I'm paying full price for an almost 2 year old console
It's such a better experience than previous gen. I got a Series X from Target shortly after launch and essentially traded in my One X for a Series S about a year later, and everything from load times to in-game performance is a huge upgrade on both.

Speaking of trade-in: store credit value for a One X at Gamestop is $225. [gamestop.com] When I traded in a game recently, I learned you can get store credit as MS credit. So a person could trade in their One X at Gamestop today, get a code for $225, apply it to their MS account, and order a Series X for $275 net.

I expect them to release a new version soon or at the very least one with a bigger SSD.

I was waiting for this, so thanks for posting OP. I've got the $75 AMEX offer. I'll be packing up and selling my One X and should not end up spending all that much on this purchase, especially if the additional 5% comes through.
