The last time the router bare tool hit SD was back in December of 2021 when it went front page (+40) at $49. The bit set went FP (+67) at $20 + $10 shipping. I'll stick the links below if anyone wants to read through the comments - both the tool and bits are pretty well regarded.

Thanks - that was my mistake; I've edited the post and title to fix it. I'd taken the link and info from the BOGO list at DTO and didn't notice that the 24 bit set on the list meant that if you bought that you'd get the 15 bit set for free. (Oddly the included free 15 bit set doesn't show up in the BOGO sale items: https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...er%20Tools .)

Anyway - my mistake, and now fixed. Thanks for catching it.

My bad - in my excitement to share the deal I goofed and linked to the wrong set. The 24 bit set is only $10 more expensive than the 15 bit set at Home Depot ($79 vs. $69), but I'm right there with you - I'd prefer to get the 24 bit set for free if I had the option!

Even with the 15 bit set I'm still very happy I bought the deal. I'd wanted to pick up the router for a while, and it's not often in good combo kits, so this deal with the bits was a no-brainer for me. Decent router bits are spendy.

It is a decent deal. The router itself has a value of ~$40 while the 15pc router bit set was $20.
