Just bought this 6 weeks ago for $1099. Any advice to get the shop card?
return and buy again. 6 weeks is within 90 days, just a pain to box it....

There are a lot of eligible items well under $1000 for this Shop Card Promo. I guess that's why the promo terms say, "Purchase 1 or more Costco Shop Card Promotion eligible items to qualify."
I do see the "Purchase 1 or more", but you'd think at $999.99, you'd qualify for the Shop Card for the TV alone. I'm sure their customer service will know.

I have a Hisense U8G and cross shopped this Sony X90J. After 6 months, I wish I had gone with the Sony. Hisense firmware is very buggy and panel quality is terrible in reality vs online reviews. DSE or gray uniformity issue is very noticeable on the Hisense. So yeah I would buy this Sony.

This TV is terrific! I was worried about the brightness Rtings.com reported amd I must say they're nuts. This TV makes me squint... The fender reflections in Gran Turismo 7 look real. Love love it. We got the 75" instead of the 65" X95j. Zero regret.

Can you elaborate? I have been looking at a few of the Hisense TVs as an option.

I'm really torn about the x91j because it has just 90% of the features I'd want but the hdr brightness from Rtings turns me off a bit.

I'm hoping it's not that bad. I don't want Samsuck. My other choice is the Vizio 85" but then again it's a Vizio. Torn. If the Vizio drops again in price during this promo I'd have to bite.

Prefer a 75" and been watching the prices of the sony x85/90 over the last 6 months. Can anyone comment on the CK version at Costco. And why it doesn't have the same 5 year or credits the 65 x90 does.

Bought this TV a couple weeks ago. Reached out to Costco chat and they credited my credit card the $200 in lieu of sending me a cash card. ymmv but worth a try to anyone who bought something recently that applies to the promo offer.
Did you buy in store or online?

CK is the 2022 model. Looks like only 80CK available now, 90CK may come up in May. Since CK is the new model, maybe that's why it doesn't have the similar promotion.

yeaa and it's too bad that 75" 90CJ doesnt have the shop card promotion ><

Costco doesn't have the 2022 X90 series yet. That 75" is the 2022 X80 series (X80CK). It's Sony's entry-level series, and Costco seldom includes the 5 yr warranty on Sony's entry-level models. It has a native 60Hz IPS panel with no local dimming. It does however mention the Bravia Core Credits under the "features" and in the attached from Sony.

If you get this TV and you happen to have external speakers (sound bar or via an amp), be forewarned that the latest firmware update broke CEC/eARC.
