Budget (and the rest of the rental companies) have been cracking down on people using codes they aren't eligible for recently.

Best I can see this isn't a "corporate rate" code as such, but it's certainly not clear what it is. Not saying don't use it, just be cautious, and don't be surprised if they up the rate when you get there...

This one will save me ~$300 from my costco car rental for a week.
Will still keep my costco reservation until more details about the code.

Just tested at Oahu's airport (HNL) for an upcoming trip and it reduced prices for a minivan by slightly more than 50% of Costco's prices. Prices are comparable now to Turo which I was going to consider first.

It's a negotiated rate code. So the rates at many/most locations will be fixed, regardless of what the public rates are. That means sometimes it'll be 50+% lower, sometimes 5% lower,a and sometimes potentially even more expensive than not using a code.

I see that its showing 125 miles per day is covered (for a minivan) & $0.25 USD per mile. But unlimited for Full Size model.

use caution with auto rental codes that are just tossed out there e.g.
"do you have your company id associated with the code you used?"

Its cheaper than Costco.com for a Mini Van $996 vs $722 using this code for 8 days. My corporate rate is $404 for the same period, so its a fail when compared with that.
