These comments will all be people praising this game and I bought it last time at this price based on that and me personally found it repetitive and boring. It reminded me of Final Fight on the SNES with mindless button mashing and killing guys over and over and over. Maybe that's the turn on to some but I was personally disappointed. It's a highly coveted game though and the chances are higher you'll like it then not but after an hour I was out and haven't touched it since. I suggest watching some gameplay to see if it's for you.

This is easily one of the best games I've ever played. The repetition is NOT a negative like most other games. You'll have a blast playing through (and getting beat) again and again. And if you've had enough you can turn on God Mode without any negative effect to your gameplay or story progression. The dialog is clever and funny. There are so many great aspects to this game. Trust me. With that said, the Rogue-Like genre is not for everyone.

Amazing game if you like to grind dungeons. Recommend for switch, though I prefer playing it on the pro controller instead of the joycons.

The game is extremely repetitive but in a good way and the storylines are fantastic. That said I play it on the Xbox and will be getting it on the switch as well.

To each their own. Curious, do you enjoy any other rogue like games? I think it might have been a mismatch of expectations for you.

Sort of like Eldenring for me. Reviews are damn near perfect but I'm never in the mood for a difficult game.

Generally speaking when it comes to rogue like games, this is one of the best in my opinion. It took me a while to get into, but oh man I still pick up this game from time to time "for another run" a year later.

I never bought this game because watching the reviews gameplay didn't do anything for me. However, since it was free on Xbox game pass I tried it out and liked it enough to spend about 30 hours into it.

It runs the same exact way. I have it on switch and have played it on gamepass. This is one of the few games that plays and runs well on the switch.

Good review. I felt the same way. It's a punishingly hard game and a single run takes time, skill, and rng. I wish there was more robust permanent upgrades to the char to help later runs. But hey, this may be some folks liking. Just like the DS git gud crew
