I have 2 that I still have balances on it. Does anyone know how to charge it online? I was going to use my the one with a $25 balance but my order was over it. I know in the store, you'd ask for a split payment but don't know online.

Pretty sure these are excluded as gift cards from the red card 5% discount. I am wrong, they appear to give you the discount when adding to the cart. If you have the discover card, this quarter includes target so I would recommend using that.

I am pretty sure Happy cards make you to choose one of the specific gift cards that are participating for that Happy Card after you buy it. They email you a link for you to redeem for actual gift card from the store of your choice. So, you will use the store's gift card and pay the difference with your credit/debit card online.

I have never heard Happy Cards or any similar cards that you redeem for specific store's gift card at the physical store? Is that the case? I have bought Choice Cards from Target.com and there were links to redeem for specific store's gift card.

5% is after the B1G1 discount. So with Red card and the B1G1 25%, the effective savings is 16.875% to be exact.

If you use Discover card and you're a Target Circle member, you get an additional 1% in Target Circle earnings; effective savings is 17.75%.
