The guy above who said Bermuda looks great is talking about hybrid Bermuda which is the best looking grass next to Zoysia but hybrid Bermuda is much easier to maintain since it's engineered to be drought resistant.
This FUD spreader talking about Bermuda being brown most of the year hasn't maintained a Bermuda yard properly. You hit it with nitrogen right out of the bat on February 28 and it looks dark and lush by mid March if you follow the necessary steps of mowing frequently and at the right height.
To get back on topic with this deal don't buy this if you're trying to grow Bermuda in a patchy area. It's not the same as what your lawn is (hybrid) so it'll look coarse and thick instead of soft and thin.
If you need to patch Bermuda in your lawn, buy a patch of sod like Tifway, Tiftuf for like $3 or a pallet for $250.
Don't listen to the bozos talking about their Fescue that they have to water every day

I am assuming grass doesn't grow well on my lawn due to a large tree. No sunlight

There is a reason why cool season lawns are not favored in Zone 7s and above, they come at a cost. Bermuda has its place in lawns which have ton of sunlight and lots of temperatures with little water. They are better in conserving water resources, dont believe that matters.
Bermuda hybrid cultivars (which the seeded ones are not) are equally darker, softer, highly drought and heat tolerant, fast recover, fast spreading (in heat of summer) that no other grass can compete. People who try to keep them picture perfect are probably mowing every other day in summer, such is the aggressive growth.
If one wants spiky, hard grass look at St Augustine. Bermuda is not one of them.
