I've never personally heard of someone matching digital price unfortunately. I assume these physical sales are often more about clearing out the inventory. Whereas, I don't know if there is even any loss they take if they don't sell a digital game card.
Be prepared to lose her for a few months. That's what happened when my wife started playing!
