It's about a single dad whose wife had died, and the game was a fun way for him to spend time with his 14-year-old son. The dad set up a Steam account just so he could play games with his son. Playing the game together for several hours was the best time they had had together since his wife had died.

Nice. It wasn't me.
I play It Takes Two[xbox.com] and Minecraft[xbox.com] with my son every once in awhile. I have so many free games in my collection though. I think I just like to collect them.

It Takes Two is on my wishlist. Can't justify yet, because like you, I'm mostly collecting right now. The mountain grows every day.

the person you responded to was correct, the review is a weird lie. the reported purchase date is before the game was ever released, and the hours played doesn't match up.
i wouldn't have taken the time to reply, but I was in a situation where games were helpful to me to connect with my child.
the reviews for this game are bad. I recommend PikuNiku, Goose Game, and a Short Hike.

Sounds good, thanks for the info. I was simply stating a summary of what the review said and not giving any opinion on whether it's a good game or not.
Thanks for the recommendations on other games. My kids really like Pikuniku, and the Untitled Goose Game is on my list of games I want. My kids also enjoy Unraveled 2 and Boomerang Fu.

No, it was about a lying troll who made that story up... If you look at the "story", they claim he played with his son in multiplayer for several hours, yet the time played counter shows around 6-10 minutes... Certainly seems to have reeled in a lot of gullible fools...
