Picked up from Target when the circle offer came to me. Super fun, reminds me of the good ole days in the late 90s at the arcades. Loved Cruisn USA, and this doesn't disappoint. I'm hoping they roll out an online component, I heard that is on the table for this game!
Nintendo shut down the wii shop and the Wii U shop so you can't redownload those games. Buying digital Nintendo titles is risky long term
I don't think that's true. You can't purchase new games but you can redownload purchased games/dlc.
For Wii U Nintendo says
Even after late March 2023, and for the foreseeable future, it will still be possible to redownload games and DLC, receive software updates and enjoy online play on Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
For Wii they say
The Wii Shop is closed for new purchases. Previously purchased titles can still be re-downloaded. However, this option will also be discontinued at some point in the future. (Exact date TBD)
Of course buying digital is always a risk. But so is investing in a system no matter where your content is. I have older iPads that are essentially useless because new content will require new OS versions that are not available. It doesn't matter that the content is still available. Luckily, I would say Nintendo doesn't have that same track record as Apple.

Portability/sharing.
Case sits on shelf so when someone asks "what games do you have?" You don't have to go from memory or fire up the system.
Switch gets lost or stolen (although you do have backup there).
On the flipside — convenience and the game never disappears.
Anything less than $15 for this game to is not worth doing so IMO.
Of course value changes over time.
