That being said, if you've been living under a rock or don't follow pc hardware, prices are on way down and availability is improving.
So if you need something now, this isn't bad relative to how it was.

$699 is the MSRP for this specific card. the "M" in "MSRP" stands for manufacturer, and the manufacturer of this card is asus. they set the "P" which, again, is $699. do you mean nvidia's founder's edition price? that's not going to happen because nvidia stopped making founder's cards
