it's still $100 more than the founder's price, but it think this is the closest to founder's price i've seen in a long time.

3060 Ti's are going for as low as $480, we need 3070s to get similar discounts.
on which planet? cheapest one on newegg is $580. cheapest one i found on amazon was around $620, and it sold out. evga's website hasn't restocked in a long while.
show me a 3060ti for $480 and i'll buy right now. and don't link me some ebay garbage that was mined into the ground.

msrp or else
$699 is the MSRP for this specific card. the "M" in "MSRP" stands for manufacturer, and the manufacturer of this card is asus. they set the "P" which, again, is $699. do you mean nvidia's founder's edition price? that's not going to happen because nvidia stopped making founder's cards

What kind of misinformation you throwing here? FE cards are still stocked. Nvidia had an exclusive deal with Best Buy. While Nvidia stopped selling them, Best Buy still gets stock on even 3080 FE cards.

I did get a 3060ti for $500 but that was micro center. That's the cheapest I've seen a 3060ti for.

Reference, manufacturer, AIB whatever. Pay what you want.
But sticker is 600. Not paying more than that on a video card to play games on.
the $600 sticker is for the "founder's edition" model that have locked clock speeds (can't overclock) and have inferior cooling solution. This card *would be* well worth the $700 if it wasn't going to be obsolete in 6 months when the 4000 series comes out.

I gave $375.79 for a Zotac 3060ti on 4/27 at Amazon. The prices are slowly working their way down. I used the hot stock app to give me notifications and it's been going off constantly as of late.

That being said, if you've been living under a rock or don't follow pc hardware, prices are on way down and availability is improving.
So if you need something now, this isn't bad relative to how it was.
But...if you can wait and gamble that covid lock downs and surges are done, wait.
