BCM6750 + BCM43684

Okay for the price IF the firmware is half decent.

5G 4x4 radio is nerfed into lower QAM modulation (It actually has 4x4 transfer and receive). Theres likely a "better" version they sell for a higher price. Real world use wont matter between the two..

2.4g is 2x2 and uses the SoC portion. (Which technically isn't a triple core, but broadcom gets away with it since they count the radio portion as a processor.. It's really a dual core relative to higher end designs..

MSRP is only $99.99 so not much of a "sale".

Competitive ASUS model with a similar setup goes for over $200 regularly, but you're paying for better/consistent FW updates and ASUS tax.

Edit: Power output is lower on this specific router. Range will suffer on main 80mhz blocks relative to what ASUS has certified. YMMV.

tl;dr = good hardware at pricepoint, may be limited to firmware quality and power output.
