Decent specs for the price, 18 miles range probably on throttle only. Their official specs say 31 miles, which is prob with pedal assist.

Looks way better than the similar priced Walmart ones. This will be great for pulling a trailer on those long rides with the kids.

Just took delivery of a Lectric XP2.0 yesterday. eBikes are a lot of fun. I don't know about this specific model but if it gets you out and about should be worth it.

How does this compare to bikes like RAD, Aventon or Jetson Pro? I know little about these but I want to get one for my father for him to ride around the burbs

This seems like a great deal from a good company. I owned a e-scooter from gotrax and it's pretty good from my experience. I'm seriously thinking about this even though I wasn't in the market for an ebike before.

Walmart sells Hyper brand e-bikes. They can sometimes be found on sale for $400. But you're right, this bike's motor is twice as powerful, and the bike comes with integrated lights and disk brakes, which the lower priced Hyper ones don't have.

Thread is a little shilly.

There seems to be NO SPECS for components on this bike so you can assume they are bottom of the barrel and only 10Ah battery, only 6 month warranty

I am very interested in this bike. But why you think it's shilly? It's being sold by the company on their site. Just want to ensure I don't get a lemon.

Gotrax uses LG branded batteries in the escooter line. It is a gamble for sure if that is carried over to the ebike line. I own a G4 scooter and had no issues other than a paint chip that came from the factory. Support would not help with cosmetic issues only hardware.

the bike he reviews is clearly the traveler, but he mistakenly links to the go trax emerge and its specs which are wrong. maybe take the review with a grain of salt

Lectric XP all day if you're contemplating an Ebike. USA company. USA service. Tons of reviews. Able to order replacement parts, etc
