But you're still only getting the discount amount based on the price of the cheapest item. If you'd add two 4 packs, you'd be getting a bigger discountโ€ฆ $30 total or $15 off of each one.

Anytime there is a buy one and get a percentage off it's ALWAYS off the cheapest item. In your case it's the single airtag. They split the money off between the 2 items giving the bigger discount to the more expensive item. You'd have to buy 2 identically priced items to maximize discount.

It's ok deal. Normally each is $25 in a 4-pack. There was a deal just posted for $85.50 for a 4-pack putting it at $21.37 each. Looks like costco had it for $80 for a 4-pack around Christmas.

I was using tiles for a couple years before the airtags came out. They are ok, but don't work nearly as well at precisely locating your item.
