Same price at Amazon and the 55" is $1200. I will probably buy that one, wish Costco carried it.

Does costco price adjust if the purchase included a "free" cash card, like the deal from two days ago?
The threshold for the $300 card was $1,501-$2,000.

Edit: FYI

Costco reps are saying the original deal was a pricing mistake and will not be fulfilling the cash cards.
They will take $200 off to match the current price.

This was my first Costco purchase.

Not impressed.
Who told you this? Did you call the 800 number or speak to someone at the store? I purchased it while they had the cash card deal going on so I'll be seriously pissed if they don't send the card and don't say anything.

Only if you watch movies/TV more than you play games. If you play games more than watch stuff, stick with the LG.

Definitely get this one if you do anything with the tv other than video games. This tv has much better upscaling which makes the picture quality way better. It also has better software to prevent burn in. LGs burn in prevention software is notoriously bad. Finally the OS is way better.

This, cmon guys. You're also more likely to have the cs rep do what they can when you're nice.

I have this model. It works great as a G-SYNC display if you are PC gaming. I have no regrets with going with this over the LG for gaming.

Here is a good comparison from a credible site of the two.
