1. S7 will automatically raise its mop by 5mm as soon it detects carpet
2. S7 has a sonic mop which actually vibrates the mop to mimic scrubbing, rather than dragging wet mop all through.

Instead of just dragging a wet rag on the floors, this one has "sonic mopping". That's right, Sonic the Hedgehog will dip himself in water and zoom across your floors
When I read that the S5 max (and most others) just drag a wet rag across the floors, I skipped mopping. I have the s4 max (no mopping) and am getting the s7 because I really want that mopping function. If it doesn't work as I want, it will go back.

Their ultra dock is super expensive... but a pretty big game changer for lazy people like me. Fills its tank and cleans the mop pad.
