Thanks, Op. Appears to be the same price on Amazon as well. With subscribe and save possibly dropping it down another 5-15% depending on subscriptions. Mine is $23.75.

I would avoid Amazon due to the high chance of receiving a counterfeit filter. I would order from Lowes or Samsung. Samsung is offering the same discount.

Further down on the Samsung page it tells you how to identify counterfeits.

Dang, I would return that fridge if I could. Absolutely no reason to support manufacturers that do this.

Turn down the PSI that is going to the unit. I read it buried on the Samsung support forum.

I have the Samsung fridge with the TV in the door and have never had any issues over the past 3 years. Knock on wood. The higher pressure sprays the water stream all around the ice unit when it fills up and turning the pressure way down you don't get as much blow by spray.

This is a buy price for this filter. I got my last one direct from Samsung when they had it for $26 for one day a month ago. There is a decoder viewer on the package to ensure you got an authentic filter. This is a no brainer versus generic and the horror stories with ice makers clogging/no real filtering with the alternative filters.

Just find a reputable seller. Making a water filter cartridge isn't rocket science. Same thing printing companies used to say... don't use generic ink. Yeah, cause that's where their highest margins are.
