I'd pay the same price to remove the last 3 films and call it the true Skywalker saga.

Star Wars Fans, is this a good deal for all movies in physical format? Or should we just wait for individual disc releases for about $10-$15 each? But even at $15 each, it's $135, I am not sure if we will ever get them for $10 with actual disc?

Was 224.99 now 159.99 New to 4K. This collection features the wonder of the entire Star Wars saga, capturing the moments from a young Anakin Skywalker's descent into the dark side to the rise of the Resistance and their struggle to restore peace in the galaxy. The story that electrified a generation comes to a striking conclusion.

If you're not TOTALLY OVER sets that don't fit on a shelf and you're into special packaging maybe.

But this would probably be triple-dip for a lot of people on at least ONE movie

cheapest i've seen it was $10 less, but i finally decided to bite the bullet on this set, as i have the visa card, which has been decent with bonuses now that they've neutered their rewards program.

now, to just get rid of the still-unopened 4k blu-rays..

Already own the ones worth watching. Feel that buying the shyte movies encourages them to make more shyte.

Best Buy had the individual releases on sale for $12.99 if I remember right around February.

It's not a bad deal if you want them all on 4k.

For the hardcore fans nothing less than a harmy or 4k77 etc edit will do.

I cannot stomach buying any of these films on yet another format.

They are all single releases now at 12-15 on a good sale day but imo this has features not on the discs like the original trilogy archives

What differences are there in picture quailty of these compared to the streaming on Disney + (using a 4K OLED TV)?

I know people will say physical disc quality is better but for that cost you can get like 2 years of Disney+…just saying.

Physical is always better.

Streaming loses partially on max potential IQ, but really it's the added variables of streaming that make streaming lose.

Examples:
My Vizio TV stutters on the Disney+ app on the latest 4k content, and I'm plugged into ethernet, so it's not a network issue.

The Paramount+ app is straight up terrible on my Vizio TV. I bought a Tivo Stream and it's a lot better on there, but the video still has little micro stutters, but not nearly as bad as Disney+ on my TV app.

General network slowdowns for no discernable reason. I think we've all been watching content and all of a sudden the quality will drop just due to natural network hiccups.

None of that exists on a Blu ray player or disc
